Company profiles
A profile is neither a quality rating nor a mandatory stage. It adjusts model breadth to decision types and maintenance cost.
| Area | Startup | Stable business | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Value | Service or key use case | Formal services and channels | Service portfolio and governed commitments |
| Work | Usually informal | Processes and capabilities | End-to-end processes, capabilities, and owners |
| Application | Systems, key components, dependencies | Explicit systems, components, integrations | Interfaces and contracts as governed objects |
| Information | Payload or data name | Independent information object | Business objects, data objects, and messages |
| Infrastructure | Environment or placement target | Critical deployments | Deployments, resources, and network segments |
Select the smallest profile that covers near-term decisions. A higher profile may be applied only to a critical part of the landscape.
